Team History
Strathclyde SIFE is now in its 4th year. We have made an amazing difference in the community. The team has a commitment beyond expectation, an enthusiasm greater than could be expected and an unrivalled passion for positive change in Glasgow. Our ambitious projects need creative and driven people to take them forward and help sustain what is already a truly remarkable team!
Example Projects
Music Development Project
The SIFE Music Development Project at Strathclyde last year worked with Hillhead High to create a record label for the school. The students from the school ran the record label and we helped them develop business, marketing and financial skills in the process. Musicians and artists from the school were signed to the label and at the end of the project, a CD was produced and marketed as well as a live showcase of all the artists.
Idolized Enterprise
This is a continuation on last years project. A book was produced with the kids of Yorkhill, (about idols!) to raise funds. This year is an expansion on this project - teaching business workshops and working with the kids to produce another special product....
Unpuzzled Accounting
Workshops held in the Hunter Centre by Bill Jarvie, a successful entrepreneur. He shows his unique method of tackling accounting and even simplifies all acounting down to one equation!
